ON TRACK WITH HYPATRAX
On
Track with HypaTrax
Many young west Londoners have a burning ambition to get into the music industry,
not necessarily as performers but perhaps on the production side or working
in events management and promotion. However, not all young west Londoners who
want to get into the music industry have found either the right job or the right
course to move them towards their goal of getting into the industry.
Getting a job in the industry without experience is practically impossible.
And not everyone finds it easy or practical to commit to a long college course.
To help music industry hopefuls who get caught in this situation, ACAVA
is running a project called HypaTrax. The project aims to help young music industry
aspirants to get some practical experience and learn some new skills that might
help them in the industry. The programme is very “hands on” and
real, delivered by people working in the industry itself. For more details of
the programme and how to get onto it, check out the HypaTrax
site.
